TIFFANY WILSON

Born and planted in the enriched, musical soil of Memphis, Tennessee; the musical buds of soulful songstress/songwriter Tiffany Wilson started blooming at the tender young age of 8. Nurtured in the church choir, Tiffany became hooked after seeing the first live act she ever saw; “Candi Staton, Blues And Gospel Singer”. Stemming from the musical branches of her dads side of the family, Tiffany also draws inspiration from legendary artist such as Aretha Franklin, Bobby Womack and Whitney Houston. “I love Bobby Womack because he mixes real life and music together so well. He is my favorite representation for “Soul “ music.” Tiffany Wilson’s music reaches out to show people how to love themselves and forgive those who hurt them. “Love is power and forgiveness is the key”, states Tiffany. She wants everyone to know that her music is for the masses but “My focus is rebuilding the woman. I want to pour back into the women what she has lost”. Residing in her “home away from home” Seattle, Washington, Tiffany reminisces about growing up with 6 siblings in Memphis where her older sister could sing very well. “Hearing my sister is what pushed me to sing”. Working with renowned artist such as Dr Dre and George Clinton, it’s hard to tell that a humble and modest Tiffany Wilson’s objective is not making singing a claim to fame. Tiffany wants to remain genuine and honest. She wants her music to be relevant 10 years from now as it is today. Starting out with a group called Soul, Tiffany Wilson has blessed a wide span of the world with her soulfully amazing voice. Stretching from Japan to Canada she has traveled with several live bands. Also a signed songwriter for Chrysalis Music Group, multi-faceted artist Tiffany Wilson’s life wouldn’t be life without music. Watch for Tiffany Wilson’s debut Album “Music Therapy” to be released August of 2009. Music is her Therapy!
